The BBC
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that they have been taken over by left wing politicians obsessed with their agenda.

"A note on terminology: The BBC uses the term migrant to refer to all people on the move who have yet to complete the legal process of claiming asylum. This group includes people fleeing war-torn countries such as Syria, who are likely to be granted refugee status, as well as people who are seeking jobs and better lives, who governments are likely to rule are economic migrants."

There are no illegal immigrants. You have been told.

You're legally a migrant unless or until you are declared an illegal immigrant.

Re: The BBC
The two Programmes that may be left wing on the BBC is Have I got news for you and maybe Panorama.
The BBC News is definitely not left wing if you think it is watch Channel 4 News and come back to me.
Any sane News organization will have a go at Trump that does not make them Left wing. When Greg Dyke was in charge then yes it was probably Left wing throughout the organization.

two programmes? Newsnight, Question Time, Daily Politics when Neil's not on it, BBC News, BBC News channel, The One Show, Inside Out, Victoria Derbyshire's show - all rabid left wing

Re: The BBC
If the BBC is rabidly left wing it's doing a really bad job of it.

Re: The BBC
It would depend on your view or perception of left wing.
There are people on here who probably think of themselves as right leaning but want state education, the Nhs and free use of roads....for example.

Well the way things are viewed now those that were centrists will be identified as lefties.

Re: The BBC
you gotta be fucking blind not to see how biased the BBC is in its left wing narrative. seriously considering not paying my licence fee. I reckon Blair bought them years ago and now there such a deep routed culture now. question time is another example of this!

Re: The BBC
The BBC isn't left-wing, it's fanatically Blairite centre-left. If it can't have Blairite, it will settle for Brownite. It openly despises UKIP (often in direct defiance of its charter), hates the Tories (despite the fact that Cameron and May have shifted them left into Blairite waters) and is terrified by Corbyn's Momentum shower, believing them a threat to the project that they all feel a part of and hold so dear.

It thinks that, on balance, the Lib Dems and Greens are fairly sound, which says it all really.

Re: The BBC
I think it's fair to say that very few people, even those of a Labour or Libdem persuasion, think that the BBC shows even the slightest sign of a right wing bias. But ask anyone else and it's odd on that they believe the BBC to have a strong left wing slant.

Take the recent couple of weeks. All their news programmes were being lead by NHS horror stories, which after a couple of days was no longer news, but the BBC carried on using the 'story' to beat the government with. It went on for days even though the story had run its course and it really was like watching a Labour party political broadcast. I've never seen such blatant propaganda by the state broadcaster.

Also, look at 'entertainment' shows such as Mock The Week. Whoever appears on that show automatically slags the Tory's, and HIGNFY is not much better. And if you listen to Radio 4 you'll know how liberal/socialist that is.

Fuck me, there are some horrible little parochial curtain-twitchers out there!

Yes, believe it or not, people often have to leave their place of abode for no fault of their own, whether it be because of war and enemy occupation, environmental pressure (lack of access to water to grow food), tyranny or simple economic depravation. It's the BBC's fucking job to present this reality to you and if it's too much for you in Essex, I'm sure the oppression of contributing a fraction of a penny in a pound to such a service of world renown ought to bring you some kind of moral satisfaction. After all, you can always watch Russia Today.

You're a nincompoop, cock.
